Flowood Liberty Park
694 Liberty Road, Flowood, Mississippi

American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a nationwide movement dedicated to ending breast cancer as we know it—for everyone. It brings together survivors, caregivers, families, friends, and communities to walk in support of those affected by breast cancer and to raise funds for lifesaving work.

Through these events, participants help support:
* Breast cancer research
* Patient support programs and services
* Transportation and lodging for treatment
* Education and early detection awareness
* Advocacy for better access to care

More than just a walk, Making Strides is a celebration of hope, strength, remembrance, and community. It honors survivors, remembers loved ones, and inspires action toward a future without breast cancer.

This walk brings together survivors, caregivers, families, and community members to support breast cancer research, patient programs, and early detection awareness. Organizers invite anyone interested to join, whether or not they use Facebook.

Those living within a couple of miles of the park may notice more activity and parking congestion early Saturday. The event honors survivors, remembers those lost, and encourages support for ongoing cancer research and patient services.
