Shucker’s Oyster Bar will host its annual Halloween Costume Party on Saturday, October 31. The event takes place at 116 Conestoga Road in Ridgeland, about a mile from the reservoir. Doors open at 7 p.m. A cover charge of $15 applies.
Live music starts at 4:30 p.m. with Acoustic Crossroads. Spunk Monkees will perform at 9 p.m. on the main stage. Bubba Wingfield & Friends follow at 10 p.m.
A costume contest begins at midnight. Prizes include $1,000 for overall best, $500 for second best, $250 for sexiest, and $250 for funniest costume.
