Boil Water Notice Issued for Lake Harbor Road Area After Emergency Repairs (LIFTED)

UPDATE (Wednesday, Nov 4 at 2:45pm): This boil water notice has been lifted.

Pearl River Valley Water Supply District has issued a boil water notice for residents on Lake Harbor Road and Lake Harbor Point. The district issued the notice after emergency water line repairs in the area.

The affected area sits on the northwest shore of the Ross Barnett Reservoir, north of the Marina and near the intersection of Lake Harbor Road and Lake Harbor Point. Repairs addressed a break in the main water line serving homes along these streets.

Residents in the affected area should bring tap water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth. This precaution stays in place until at least November 5.

PRVWSD will notify residents when water samples confirm the water is safe to use without boiling. Updates will come as soon as testing is complete. Expect normal water use to resume after the notice is lifted.
