Reservoir residents can stay connected with the Pearl River Valley Water Supply District through text alerts delivered directly to their phones.
The district offers a sign-up feature on its website for important water-related news and alerts. Residents who haven’t noticed the “Get Connected!” section on the homepage can enroll by sending a text message using the keyword for their county.
Here’s how to sign up:
- Madison County: Text Madison to 833-205-7575.
- Rankin County: Text Rankin to 833-205-7575.
Both counties use the same phone number, so be sure to enter the appropriate county name in your message.
Residents can also visit therez.ms.gov, scroll to the “Get Connected!” section near the bottom of the homepage and scan the QR code labeled for their county.
The district’s website also includes a “Latest News & Events” section where residents can check posted notices and updates. Signing up for texts provides another way to stay informed about water-related news without relying solely on social media or word of mouth.
Take a moment to enroll, and share the sign-up information with a neighbor who may not know the service is available.
