After 12 years of serving Reservoir residents, Revell Ace Hardware is expanding its store at 1919 Spillway Road. Construction is underway, and the store remains open while crews make room for more merchandise inside and more display space outdoors.
Revell says the expansion will bring a new store layout, a larger inventory and several new product lines. Photos the store shared with its announcement show shelving being rearranged and a section of floor cleared beneath an exposed ceiling. Revell has yet to announce a completion date or identify which new lines it plans to carry.
“One thing that won’t change? The friendly faces and hometown service you’ve counted on for the past 12 years,” the store said in its announcement. Shoppers will also find markdowns throughout the store as Revell clears space for the remodel.
Residents who have ever wished their neighborhood hardware store carried a particular item now have a place to ask for it. Revell has set up a comment board near the front of the store where customers can leave suggestions for what they’d like to see on the shelves.
